Before scheduling your exam, note that Colorado requires you to complete all required pre-license education and receive your completion certificate before taking any portion of the licensing exam. If you pass any portion of the exam before your education is fully completed, you will need to retake that portion.
Next, you'll take and pass the Colorado Real Estate Broker License Exam, which is administered by PSI. This exam consists of an 80-question National portion with a 120-minute time allowance and a 74-question State portion with a 110-minute time allowance. Exam results are valid for one year from the date of each portion’s passing score. For more information, see the PSI Candidate Information Bulletin.
Colorado provides the option of taking the licensing exam remotely or in-person at a testing center. You can schedule an exam through the PSI exam site. PSI has a dedicated number for Colorado candidates with scheduling or any other issues on their exam - (855) 744-0313.
